Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS), a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, is a leading provider of international-standard aviation ground handling services in Vietnam. Operating modern infrastructure across three major hubs—Noi Bai, Da Nang, and Tan Son Nhat—VIAGS serves over 80 domestic and international airlines, maintaining its leadership in safety and service quality.

In ground handling operations, precision and absolute safety are paramount. Ensuring personnel have timely access to the correct, latest-version documentation—ranging from internal workflows and passenger handling procedures to ground support equipment operating standards—is critical to executing tasks accurately and maintaining operational consistency.

On October 20, 2026, Nexlab Technology and VIAGS officially kicked off Phase 1 of the VIAGS Intelligent Document Management System (VIAGS-IDMS). The partnership begins with deploying a document management and retrieval module tailored specifically for the Safety and Quality Department.

A strategic component of VIAGS’s 2026–2030 Action Program for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, the platform is designed to serve over 4,000 employees. It leverages artificial intelligence to streamline document search, citation, verification, and real-time lifecycle tracking.

Beyond technical deployment, Nexlab prioritizes technology transfer and capacity building. This collaborative model empowers VIAGS’s internal technical team to actively engage in the development process, building the expertise required to independently operate, maintain, and scale the system in the future.

The project kickoff marks a key milestone in the partnership between Nexlab and VIAGS, driving toward the shared goal of standardizing knowledge management and elevating operational efficiency in the aviation industry.
