INTERN BACKEND DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

- Support the development of web applications using modern open-source JavaScript frameworks under the guidance of senior mentors.
- Assist in the end-to-end implementation of features based on technical requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot basic system issues.
- Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code while learning to implement Unit Tests.
- Participate proactively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up) and engineering practice refinements.
- Help improve system stability and user experience through bug fixing and optimization

Qualifications:

Must have:

- Education: Final year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Language & Runtime: Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with NodeJS (ExpressJS or NestJS) through academic projects or personal portfolios.
- Database: Fundamental knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Core CS Skills: Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and Data Structures/Algorithms.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git (GitHub/Bitbucket).
- Communication: Good English reading and writing skills (for documentation and technical communication).

Nice to have:

- Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Basic knowledge of Containerization (Docker) or Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with testing utilities such as Jest or Mocha.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum tools like JIRA.
- Exposure to modern technologies like GraphQL, Redis, or Microservices architecture.
