โ€About Nexlab:

โ€Nexlab is an enterprise software and AI company (B2B) based in Ho Chi Minh City operating on an AI-first methodology โ€” placing AI at the center of the entire analysis, design, and execution pipeline, while humans retain critical judgment and decision-making. We build products for enterprise clients across diverse sectors: fintech, education, e-commerce, services, and corporate digital transformation.

โ€About the Role:

โ€You will own the end-to-end execution of enterprise software projects โ€” from requirements analysis, writing specs, and setting up designs for AI coding agent handoff, to managing release cadences. Since projects span multiple domains, this position requires someone who can rapidly master new business domains and manage up to two projects concurrently. This is not a "note-taking" BA role. You are the product pace-setter and decision-maker in an AI-first team, where a single BA generates output equivalent to a small traditional team and is evaluated against that benchmark.

โ€I. How the Team Works โ€” AI-First, AI-Driven

โ€โ€ข The entire pipeline โ€” requirements analysis, spec writing, design drafting, and handoff to AI coding agents for execution โ€” runs on AI tooling infrastructure; humans retain judgment and final decision-making.

โ€ข Specs, documentation, and designs pass through AI at the draft generation stage. Human value lies in framing the correct problems, verifying business logic, and making final decisions โ€” judgment quality is measured, not keystroke hours.

โ€ข Products are delivered to enterprise clients where errors carry real financial and operational costs. An immutable principle:AI proposes, human decidesโ€” and the person safeguarding this principle in every line of spec is the BA.

โ€II. Core ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis with a Product Mindset (Primary Focus)

โ€โ€ข Independently write PRDs and Acceptance Criteria in sufficient depth for developers and AI coding agents to build immediately: business flows, data flows, edge cases, error states โ€” leveraging AI to generate scaffolding while personally verifying and taking accountability for every line.

โ€ข Master a new business domain within the first week of a project: survey current processes, interview business users, and build domain concept maps as the foundation for specs.

โ€ข Approach requirements with a product mindset: trace back to the real problem behind every request, distinguish genuine user needs from habitual stakeholder requests, and confidently advocate against building non-value-adding features.

โ€ข Propose the scope for each release cycle backed by trade-off analysis linked to user outcomes and client business goals; proposals must feature solid arguments, though final decisions rest with the Project Lead.

โ€ข Design transition operating procedures for unautomated flows: defining roles, data paths, and error-handling mechanisms.

โ€ข Coordinate UAT with client business users; track post-release product performance, converting feedback into controlled spec adjustments.

โ€Design within Existing Systems

โ€โ€ข Construct user flows, wireframes, and screen designs for AI coding agent handoffs within each project's design system using AI design tools โ€” designer background not required, but strict compliance with design tokens and user context is mandatory.

โ€ข Conduct Design QA on builds: cross-check implementation against designs, including empty/error states and Vietnamese copy on the UI.

โ€Scrum Master / Release Management

โ€โ€ข Establish and maintain release cadence according to committed milestones: sprint partitioning, dependency management, and ensuring every sprint delivers demonstrable output โ€” backlogs decomposed via AI, with estimation and balance decided by humans.

โ€ข Unblock development teams and AI coding agents, particularly regarding pending business decisions from clients; keep ceremonies lean and functional, avoiding administrative bureaucracy.

โ€ข Actively serve as the primary communication bridge for project-scope client interactions: business discussions, regular status reporting, and early risk alerts with actionable recommendations โ€” escalating only out-of-scope decisions to upper management.

โ€III. Mandatory Requirements

โ€โ€ข 3+ years of experience as a Product/Software BA; must have shipped real-world products where you personally wrote the specs โ€” proven via portfolio or anonymized document samples.

โ€ข Demonstrated experience in at least two different business domains and able to explain your process for learning a new domain โ€” this role is not tied to a single industry.

โ€ข Product mindset: can cite at least one instance of rejecting or reshaping stakeholder requirements due to lack of end-user value, and one spec decision based on real usage observations rather than internal opinions.

โ€ข AI-native in daily workflow: proficient in using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) for analysis, spec writing, and research; capable of using AI design tools. This is a baseline operational requirement, not a bonus.

โ€ข AI output verification mindset: able to distinguish between a correct AI draft and a smooth-sounding draft with flawed business logic; able to provide real examples where you rejected or corrected AI outputs and why (evaluated specifically during the test).

โ€ข Hands-on experience facilitating sprints/releases for teams of 5โ€“10 people as a Scrum Master or equivalent role; prepared to apply the same discipline to a hybrid team of humans + AI coding agents.

โ€ข Sufficient technical foundation to work directly with developers and AI coding agents: reading API docs, understanding client-server architecture, and discussing system integrations.

โ€ข Non-technical stakeholder management skills: asking the right questions, accurate documentation, and courage to challenge impossible requests.โ€ข Strong English reading skills for technical documentation.

โ€IV. Nice-to-Haves / Plus Points

โ€โ€ข Experience in agency/outsourcing or consulting environments โ€” accustomed to handling multiple clients, diverse domains, and contractual deadline commitments.

โ€ข Direct experience working with AI coding agents (Claude Code or equivalent) as a spec/prompt author, or experience building custom prompt pipelines, skills, and AI workflows for business operations.

โ€ข Domain experience in regulated industries (Banking & Finance, Insurance, Healthcare, Education).

โ€ข Proven track record of putting systems into production within active 24/7 operating organizations.

โ€ข Proficiency in Figma or design-to-code tools; solid understanding of design tokens and component systems.

โ€ข Scrum Certifications (PSM/CSM) โ€” minor plus; practical experience takes precedence.

โ€V. Benefits

โ€โ€ข Competitive salary negotiated based on capability; periodic performance reviews; project performance bonuses.

โ€ข Work in a genuine AI-first team โ€” equipped with and encouraged to use AI tools (LLMs, AI coding/design agents) as primary daily tools.

โ€ข Multi-domain and enterprise client exposure โ€” accelerating career growth significantly faster than single-product environments.

โ€ข High degree of autonomy within scope, flat structure, and fast decision-making.

โ€ข Full statutory insurance (Social, Health, Unemployment) per labor law; annual and public holiday leave per company policy.

โ€ข Provided work equipment; regular internal team-building activities.
